Christa Rusu

Cristina is an Economist with a BA in International Economic Relations. She has worked in the private sector in the FMCG industry as a Finance Analyst before joining MSF in 2014. She has done field missions in South Sudan, Eswatini, Iraq, Bangladesh, Yemen, and DRC, mainly as a Finance Coordinator.

Her interests lie at the nexus of gender, human rights, and social, political, and economic change and development. She is learning more about them academically via two masters in Human Rights Law and Gender in Global Politics and wants to continue her professional work in the humanitarian and human rights field; thus, joining the board of MSF-AT seems an exciting opportunity to continue learning more about humanitarian interventions.

Outside of work and study, she loves collecting stories in all forms and shapes: from visual arts and reading to meeting beautiful people worldwide. She is a nature and outdoor sports enthusiast.
