Have you ever been abroad for a significant length of time or on a humanitarian mission before?
I have been working for 3 months in 2017-18 in Children’s Hospital in Aweil, South Sudan.

Why did you decide to go on mission with MSF?
It was my wish from the medical study on to be active also in the humanitarian field. I applied to join MSF because of my respect and admiration of MSF principles, organisation, and work.

What do you value most about MSF?
Apolicity and deepest respect of human rights. I also like broader antropological and psyco-social awareness.

What are you looking forward to most on your (next) mission?
Meeting new people, getting familiar with new places, facing new challenges.

Is there anything that you take along to every mission?
Computer.

What are you passionate about and how do you like to spend your free time?
Interacting with other staff (local and international), sport, reading, watching movies.

What is your most unforgettable experience in the field?
There were many. Probably the funniest one was my arrival to the living compound in Aweil, South Sudan on the first day. As it was mid-December the national and international staff was having end of the year party and instead of planned briefings I was introduced to my future co-workers very informally while eating, drinking and dancing. I didn’t expect to start my first mission with a party.
